Al Shabaab ‘s Activity in Somalia
Between 23 and 26 December, Al-Shabaab conducted a series of coordinated attacks across Somalia and northeastern Kenya, targeting Somali National Army (SNA), Ethiopian, Ugandan, and Kenyan forces, as well as civilian infrastructure. The group also confirmed the death of a senior leader, Mohamed Mire Jama, in a U.S. airstrike.
